1. Using MyLedger

To use MyLedger, you need to be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a contract under Australian law. You're responsible for keeping your account login confidential and for everything that happens under your account.

You agree to use MyLedger only for lawful, personal use, and not to misuse the service, for example by attempting to access other people's accounts, scraping data, transmitting harmful code, or interfering with how the app runs.

2. What MyLedger Does

MyLedger is a personal finance and budgeting tool. It helps you track transactions you enter, set monthly budgets, plan with a compound interest calculator, convert currencies, read short money tips, and work through a financial wellness checklist.

MyLedger does not currently connect to bank accounts automatically, move money on your behalf, or process payments. We may add new features over time and will update the service when we do.

3. Your Data and Content

You own the financial information, notes, and labels you enter into MyLedger. You give us permission to store and display this content only to provide the service to you. We don't use it for ads, marketing, or training third-party models.

You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. MyLedger uses your inputs to calculate budgets, projections, and insights. If the inputs are inaccurate, the outputs will be too.

You can export or delete your data at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Not Financial Advice

This is the most important section.

MyLedger provides general information, calculation tools, and educational content. It does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any personal recommendation. We are not a licensed financial adviser, accountant, or broker.

Money tips, compound interest projections, budget suggestions, and checklist items in the app are general in nature. They do not take into account your personal financial situation, goals, or needs. Before making any financial decision, you should consider whether the information is appropriate for you and seek independent advice from a licensed professional where appropriate.

Currency exchange rates shown are indicative only and should not be relied on for real-money transactions. Past performance and illustrative projections are not a guarantee of future results.

You use MyLedger at your own risk and remain solely responsible for your financial decisions.

5. Service Availability and Limits

MyLedger is currently free to use. We may introduce optional paid features in the future and will clearly tell you the price before charging anything. Existing free features will remain free for current users wherever practical.

We work hard to keep MyLedger running, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be limited or excluded.

6. Contact and Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally to keep them current with the service and Australian law. Continuing to use MyLedger after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

You can stop using MyLedger and delete your account at any time.
